Annual Financial Report
VR’s Annual Report for the year 2024 has been publishedVR-Group Plc, stock exchange release, March 26, 2025, at 14.00 EET
VR has published its Annual Report for the year 2024 today, 26 March 2025. The Annual Report includes the Report of the Board of Directors and the Financial Statements, the Corporate Governance Statement and the Remuneration Report for 2024. The publication is available as a PDF file in Finnish and English.
For the first time, the Report of the Board of Directors includes a Sustainability Statement, prepared in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Authorized Sustainability Audit Firm KPMG Oy Ab has assured the report at a limited assurance level in accordance with ISAE 3000 (revised).
VR also publishes the financial statements in XHTML format in accordance with the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) reporting requirements. In line with the ESEF requirements, the primary statements in the consolidated financial statements have been labelled with XBRL tags. Authorized Audit Firm KPMG Oy Ab has assured the XHTML file and the XBRL tags included in it in accordance with ISAE 3000 (revised).
The XHTML file (in Finnish) and the Annual Report are attached to this release and are available at 2024.vrgroupraportti.fi/en as well as on VR’s website.

Tilinpäätös ja toimintakertomus
VR:n vuosikertomus 2024 on julkaistuVR-Yhtymä Oyj, pörssitiedote, 26.3.2025 klo 14.00
VR on julkaissut tänään 26.3.2025 vuoden 2024 vuosikertomuksen. Vuosikertomus sisältää hallituksen toimintakertomuksen ja tilinpäätöksen, selvityksen hallinto- ja ohjausjärjestelmästä sekä palkitsemisraportin vuodelta 2024. Julkaisu on saatavilla PDF-tiedostona suomeksi ja englanniksi.
Hallituksen toimintakertomus sisältää ensimmäistä kertaa EU:n kestävyysraportointidirektiivin (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, CSRD) ja sen kestävyysstandardien (European Sustainability Reporting Standards, ESRS) mukaisesti laaditun kestävyysraportin. Kestävyystarkastusyhteisö KPMG Oy Ab on suorittanut kestävyysraportin varmennuksen rajoitetun varmuuden tasolla. Varmennus toteutettiin kansainvälisen varmennusstandardin ISAE 3000 (uudistettu) mukaisesti.
VR julkaisee tilinpäätöksen myös European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) -raportointivaatimusten mukaisesti XHTML-tiedostona. ESEF-vaatimusten mukaisesti konsernitilinpäätöksen päälaskelmat ja liitetiedot sekä yhtiön tunnistetiedot on merkitty XBRL-merkein. Tilintarkastusyhteisö KPMG Oy Ab on varmentanut XHTML-tiedoston ja sen sisältämät XBRL-merkinnät. Varmennustoimeksianto on suoritettu kansainvälisen ISAE 3000 (uudistettu) -varmennustoimeksiantostandardin mukaisesti.
