Turkka Kuusisto steps down from VR’s Board of Directors
Turkka Kuusisto has announced his resignation from the Board of Directors of VR on January 11, 2024. Kuusisto is stepping down from VR’s board as he takes on a new role at Finnair. He has been a member of VR’s board since 2022. The company thanks Turkka Kuusisto for his contribution to the company´s Board of Directors over the past years.
Following this change, VR’s board has full capacity to continue, consisting of 7 members until the next Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting held on April 16, 2024, will elect new members to VR’s board for the upcoming term.

Turkka Kuusisto jättää VR:n hallituksen
Turkka Kuusisto on ilmoittanut eroavansa VR-Yhtymä Oyj:n hallituksesta 11.1.2024. Kuusisto jättää VR:n hallituksen siirtyessään Finnairin palvelukseen. Hän on toiminut VR:n hallituksen jäsenenä vuodesta 2022. VR haluaa lämpimästi kiittää Turkka Kuusistoa hänen panoksestaan yhtiön hallituksessa.
Muutoksen jälkeen VR:n hallitus jatkaa päätösvaltaisena ja hallituksessa on 7 jäsentä seuraavaan varsinaiseen yhtiökokoukseen saakka. VR-Yhtymä Oyj:n yhtiökokous 16.4.2024 valitsee VR:n hallituksen jäsenet uudelle toimikaudelle.
