Reka Industrial Plc: Managing Director Jukka Poutanen joined Nexans Group
Jukka Poutanen, the Managing Director of the company and Reka Cables Ltd, continues as the Managing Director of Reka Cables Ltd and has therefore joined Nexans Group following the completion of the sale of Reka Cables Ltd.
Jukka Poutanen has developed the business systematically, sustainably and diversely. Reka Cables has developed products for renewable energy solutions and at the same time has transformed to be more environmental friendly and energy efficient in its own production. The satisfaction of the customers and personnel has grown and the profitability of the whole Reka Industrial Group has clearly improved.
Jukka Poutanen was appointed as Managing Director of the company and subsidiary Reka Cables Ltd in August 2019. In the appointment stock release the Chairman of the Board, Markku E. Rentto, stated: “The Board of Directors believes Jukka Poutanen to be the right person to both speed up the development of the company towards sustainable and profitable growth and to increase the shareholder value according to our strategy”. Jukka Poutanen has exceeded the expectations of the Board.

Reka Industrial Oyj: Toimitusjohtaja Jukka Poutanen siirtyi Nexans-konserniin
Yhtiön ja Reka Kaapeli Oy:n toimitusjohtajana toiminut Jukka Poutanen jatkaa Reka Kaapeli Oy:n toimitusjohtajana ja on siten siirtynyt yrityskaupan toteuttamisen myötä Nexans-konsernin palvelukseen.
Jukka Poutanen on kehittänyt liiketoimintaa systemaattisesti, vastuullisesti ja monipuolisesti. Reka Kaapeli on kehittänyt uusiutuvan energian ratkaisuja muuntuen samalla ympäristöystävällisemmäksi ja energiatehokkaammaksi omassa tuotannossaan. Asiakkaiden ja henkilöstön tyytyväisyys ja koko konsernin kannattavuus on selkeästi parantunut.
Jukka Poutanen nimitettiin yhtiön ja tytäryhtiö Reka Kaapeli Oy:n toimitusjohtajaksi elokuussa 2019. Yhtiön hallituksen puheenjohtaja, Markku E. Rentto, totesi tuolloin: “Yhtiön hallitus uskoo Jukka Poutasen olevan oikea henkilö vauhdittamaan yhtiön kehitystä kohti kestävää ja kannattavaa kasvua sekä kasvattamaan omistaja-arvoa strategiamme mukaisesti”. Jukka Poutanen on ylittänyt hallituksen odotukset.
