AirRobot has signed a 4-year extension to the MRO contract with the Bundeswehr for the maintenance and repair of the original MIKADO I drone fleet owned by Bundeswehr. The contract value is expected to be up to EUR 3 million.
The MIKADO I project is AirRobot first project with Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) and the current MRO (Maintenance, repair, and overhaul) contract has lasted for ten years. This project is the predecessor of the MIKADO II project, which was awarded to AirRobot by Bundeswehr in May 2022.
All critical spare parts to conduct the extended MRO contract on the MIKADO I project are already in stock at the production facility of AirRobot in Arnsberg, Germany.
The MRO activity on the MIKADO I project will be conducted simultaneously as the MIKADO II project is progressing.
The contract value is based on the customer’s expected usage of the contract.
