Toril Eidesvik, CEO of Nekkar ASA (“Nekkar”) has decided to leave Nekkar and have made an agreement with the Board of Directors that she will be released from her duties end of 3Q 2020. Her agreement is a good leaver agreement, where she will continue to support Nekkar through the Cargotec / MacGregor legal arbitration process for as long as it takes. At the same date as she is leaving the company, Preben Liltved will be appointed as interim CEO of Nekkar.
The Board of Directors of Nekkar is very grateful for all her efforts and wishes to thank Toril Eidesvik for serving as CEO in Nekkar for more than 4 years. “Toril has been able to keep a sound business focus and a steady course whilst navigating both in choppy market environments and in the demanding industry consolidation processes related to TTS Group ASA. All her efforts have indisputably created significant value for our shareholders” says Trym Skeie, chairman of the Board of Nekkar. The Board of Directors of Nekkar wish her all the luck with future assignments.
Preben Liltved have more than 25 years’ experience from marine and offshore product and service business in different management positions. His solid technical background combined with global management experience in companies like Goltens, Aker Solutions, Macgregor, Palfinger and latest Eyde Mooring Solutions will give a strong contribution to operations in both Syncrolift and the new business opportunities within Aquaculture, Digitalisation and Offshore Energy and Renewable. The Board of Directors of Nekkar wishes Preben welcome on board and looking forward to harvesting from his vast industry experience.
