Monsenso – førende udbyder af digitale sundhedsløsninger til mental sundhed – planlægger at styrke bestyrelsen ved indstilling af et nyt bestyrelsesmedlem med stærke kvalifikationer og kompetencer til at støtte den videre vækstrejse; Maria Helene Hjorth, administrerende direktør i VP Securities A/S.
Maria Helene Hjorth kommer til at afløse Jukka Pekka Pertola, der som tidligere annonceret ønsker at træde ud af bestyrelsen for at imødekomme god selskabsledelse gennem reduktion af sine bestyrelsesposter og formandskaber.
Den øvrige bestyrelse og ledelsen i Monsenso vil gerne takke Jukka Pertola for hans indsats med at støtte direktionen, virksomheden generelt og ikke mindst børsnoteringen på Nasdaq First North i 2020.
Den nye bestyrelse planlægger at konstituere sig med Maria Hjorth som formand og Jakob Bardram som næstformand efter den ordinære generalforsamling d. 14. april 2021, hvor Jukka Pertola samtidig forventes at træde tilbage som formand.
Nomineringen af Maria Hjorth sker i forlængelse af en ændring i bestyrelsen i januar, hvor Peter Høngaard Andersen og Jacob Hahn Michelsen ligeledes blev valgt til bestyrelsen med henblik på at styrke kompetencerne og diversiteten i bestyrelsen.
Jukka Pertola kommenterede: “Jeg er ærgerlig over at skulle overdrage formandsposten, men gør det for at imødekomme kravene til god selskabsledelse. Jeg er til gengæld rigtigt glad for, at vi med Maria Hjorth og ændringerne i januar har en bestyrelse som kompetence- og erfaringsmæssigt er rigtigt godt positioneret til at hjælpe Monsenso videre til næste niveau. Jacob Hahn Michelsen og Peter Høngaard Andersen bragte i januar omfattende erfaring fra sundhedsrelateret software, medicinske applikationer og IT, forskning, lægemiddelindustrien, neurologi, samt innovation og finansiering. Marias erfaring fra topledelse, finansiel virksomhed, investor relations og M&A supplerer den øvrige bestyrelses erfaring rigtigt godt”.

Monsenso – a leading provider of digital health solutions for mental health – plans to further strengthen the board by nominating a new professional board member with strong qualifications and competencies to support the company’s growth journey: Maria Helene Hjorth, CEO at VP Securities A/S.
Maria Hjorth will replace Jukka Pertola, who – as previously announced – will withdraw from the board of directors in order to comply with good board governance practices by reducing his number of board positions.
The board and the management of Monsenso would like to thank Jukka Pertola for his efforts in supporting the management, the company in general and particularly the listing on Nasdaq First North in 2020.
The new board plans to constitute itself with Maria Hjorth as the Chairman and Jakob Bardram as the Vice Chairman following the ordinary Annual General Meeting on April 14, 2021, where Jukka Pertola is expected to resign as the Chairman.
The nomination of Maria Hjorth follows a change in the board in January, where Peter Høngaard Andensen and Jacob Hahn Michelsen were elected with the aim to strengthen the competences and diversity of the board.
Jukka Pertola commented:” It is sad to pass on the chairmanship, but I have to do so to comply with demands related to good corporate governance. On the other hand, I am very pleased that with Maria Hjorth and the changes made in January, we have a competent and experienced board that is well positioned to help Monsenso reach the next level. Jacob Hahn Michelsen and Peter Høngaard Andersen brought extensive experience in pharma- and health-related software, medical applications, science and research, pharmaceuticals, neurology, innovation and funding. Maria Hjorth’s experiences from top management, financial businesses, investor relations and M&A is a great supplement to the rest of the board”.
