Loihde Plc’s share buyback programme has ended
On 4 January 2022, Loihde Plc’s Board of Directors decided to start a share buyback programme in accordance with the authorisation granted to them by the Annual General Meeting on 6 May 2021.
Loihde has now completed the share buyback programme in question. The repurchase of shares started on 10 January 2022 and ended on 4 May 2022. During that period, Loihde acquired 25,325 own shares at a total value of EUR 419,709,40 and an average price per share of EUR 16.5729. The shares were acquired by public trading on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland marketplace at the market price quoted at the time of acquisition.
The shares were repurchased in order to improve the company’s financing structure by lowering its equity and to implement the company’s share-based incentive schemes. On 3 May 2022, the company’s Board of Directors decided to cancel the 25,088 shares that by that time had been acquired in the buyback programme as well as 382,130 other treasury shares.
Loihde Plc currently has 6,032,134 shares. After the repurchases, the company holds 407,455 treasury shares, and after the cancellation decision from 3 May 2022 has entered into force, the company will hold 237 treasury shares and the total number of shares will be 5,624,916 shares.

Loihde Oyj:n omien osakkeiden osto-ohjelma päättynyt
Loihde Oyj:n hallitus päätti 4.1.2022 käynnistää omien osakkeiden takaisinosto-ohjelman yhtiökokouksen 6.5.2021 hallitukselle antaman valtuutuksen mukaisesti.
Loihde on nyt saanut päätökseen kyseisen omien osakkeiden takaisinosto-ohjelman. Omien osakkeiden hankinnat alkoivat 10.1.2022 ja loppuivat 4.5.2022. Tämän jakson aikana Loihde hankki 25 325 omaa osaketta, joiden kokonaisarvo oli 419 709,40 euroa ja hinta keskimäärin 16,5729 euroa. Osakkeet hankittiin Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland -markkinapaikalla järjestetyssä kaupankäynnissä hankintahetken markkinahintaan.
Yhtiön omien osakkeiden hankinnan tarkoituksena oli yhtiön rahoitusrakenteen kehittäminen omaa pääomaa alentamalla sekä osakkeiden käyttäminen osana yhtiön osakepohjaisia kannustinjärjestelmiä. Yhtiön hallitus on 3.5.2022 päättänyt mitätöidä osakeohjelman kautta siihen mennessä hankitut 25 088 osaketta sekä muuten yhtiön hallussa olevat 382 130 osaketta.
Loihde Oyj:n osakemäärä on tällä hetkellä 6 032 134. Hankintojen jälkeen yhtiöllä on hallussaan 407 455 kappaletta omia osakkeitaan, ja 3.5.2022 päätetyn mitätöinnin voimaanastumisen jälkeen yhtiön haltuun jää 237 omaa osaketta. Yhtiön osakkeiden kokonaismäärä on tuolloin 5 624 916.
