Gennem vores partner M. Braun UK Ltd. har FOM Technologies solgt en avanceret slot-die coating maskine til en virksomhed, med fokus på hydrogen-elektriske løsninger til transportindustrien. Kunden ønsker at være anonym.
Slutkunden er finansieret af adskillige investorer, hvor en af dem er Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Breakthrough Energy Ventures er investeringsselskabet i Breakthrough Energy-organisationen som er grundlagt af Bill Gates. Breakthrough Energy’s mål er at accelerere innovation inden for bæredygtig energi samt andre teknologier der arbejder på reducere drivhusgas udledningen.
FOM’s flagskibsmaskine – alphaSC slot-die coater repræsenterer materiale forsknings teknologi, der muliggør uovertrufen præcision, der er afgørende for udvikling og skalering af banebrydende løsninger. Salget cementerer FOM Technologies position i spidsen for innovation, der understøtter – blandt andre – ambitiøse pionerer inden for brint-elektrisk teknologi.
CEO for FOM Technologies Michael Stadi udtaler: “Vi er stolte af samarbejdet med M. Braun og slutkunden i dette projekt. Vores alphaSC slot-die coater tilbyder præcisions materiale forskning, der vil blive brugt i R/D-skalering af hydrogen elektriske løsninger til transportbranchen”.
Maskinen forventes leveret til slutkundens forskningsfaciliteter i Storbritannien i tredje kvartal af 2024.

Through our partner M. Braun UK Ltd., FOM Technologies has sold an advanced slot die coating machine to a company focusing on hydrogen-electric solutions for the transportation industry. The customer wishes to remain anonymous.
The end-customer is funded by several investors where one of them is Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Breakthrough Energy Ventures is the investment vehicle in the Breakthrough Energy organization founded by Bill Gates. Breakthrough Energy’s aim is to accelerate innovation in sustainable energy and in other technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The flagship machine – the FOM alphaSC slot-die coater represents a pinnacle of precision engineering, enabling unparalleled coating capabilities essential for the development and production of cutting-edge technologies. This sale cements FOM Technologies position at the forefront of innovation supporting – among others – ambitious pioneers within the hydrogen-electric engineering.
CEO of FOM Technologies Michael Stadi states: “We are proud to partner with M. Braun and the end customer in this project. Our alpha slot-die coater offers precision coating capabilities that will be used in the R/D scaling of hydro-electric solutions for the transportation industry”.
The equipment is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2024, to the end customer’s research facilities in the UK.
This investor news will not change the 2024 financial guidance for revenue and EBITDA.
