Som led i den videre professionalisering og fokusering på ESG-dimensionen etablerer FOM Technologies på eget initiativ en whistleblower ordning. Ordningen administreres af et eksternt advokatselskab.
En whistleblower-ordning er en mekanisme, hvor medarbejdere eller andre interessenter inden for en organisation kan rapportere uregelmæssigheder, illegale aktiviteter eller etisk tvivlsom adfærd uden frygt for repressalier. Selskabet har vurderet, at nedenstående grunde var gode argumenter for, at FOM Technologies som mindre scale-up selskab ønsker at gå forrest med at implementere en whistleblower-ordning via et eksternt advokatselskab, uanset at FOM Technologies endnu ikke har nået en størrelse, hvor der er lovkrav om at etablere ordningen:
Opdagelse af uregelmæssigheder: En whistleblower-ordning giver en kanal, hvor medarbejdere kan rapportere mistænkelig adfærd eller potentielle overtrædelser af loven eller af virksomhedens interne politikker. Dette kan hjælpe med at identificere og rette op på problemer tidligt, før de udvikler sig til større problemer.
Forbedring af virksomhedsetik: En whistleblower-ordning sender et klart signal om, at virksomheden værd-sætter etisk adfærd og er dedikeret til at opretholde høje standarder for integritet. Dette bidrager til at skabe en sund og etisk arbejdskultur.
Forebyggelse af interne konflikter: En whistleblower-ordning bidrager til at forebygge interne konflikter ved at give en struktureret og fortrolig metode til at håndtere bekymringer. Dette kan bidrage til at undgå, at medarbejdere føler sig tvunget til at håndtere konflikter på en uhensigtsmæssig måde.
Styrkelse af ledelsens integritet: Implementering af en whistleblower-ordning sender et signal om, at ledelsen er åben for at modtage og håndtere kritik på en retfærdig og objektiv måde gennem en 3. part. Dette styrker tilliden mellem ledelse og medarbejdere.
Beskyttelse af virksomhedens omdømme: Ved at håndtere problemer proaktivt og korrekt kan en whistleblower-ordning bidrage til at minimere skade på virksomhedens omdømme. Åbenhed og ansvarlighed kan være afgørende for at bevare tilliden hos kunder, investorer og andre interessenter.

As part of the further professionalization and focus on the ESG dimension, FOM Technologies is establishing a whistleblower scheme on its own initiative. The scheme is administered by an external law firm.
A whistleblower scheme is a mechanism where employees or other stakeholders within an organization can report irregularities, illegal activities or ethically questionable behavior without fear of reprisal. The company has assessed that the reasons below were good arguments for FOM Technologies, as a smaller scale-up company, wanting to take the lead in implementing a whistleblower scheme via an external law firm, regardless of the fact that FOM Technologies has not yet reached a size where there are legal requirements to establish the scheme:
Detection of irregularities: A whistleblower scheme provides a channel through which employees can report suspicious behavior or potential violations of the law or of the company’s internal policies. This can help identify and correct problems early before they develop into larger problems.
Improving corporate ethics: A whistleblower scheme sends a clear signal that the company values ethical behavior and is dedicated to maintaining high standards of integrity. This contributes to creating a healthy and ethical work culture.
Prevention of internal conflicts: A whistleblower scheme contributes to the prevention of internal conflicts by providing a structured and confidential method for dealing with concerns. This can help to avoid employees feeling forced to deal with conflicts in an inappropriate way.
Strengthening the integrity of management: Implementing a whistleblower scheme sends a signal that management is open to receiving and handling criticism in a fair and objective manner through a 3rd party. This strengthens the trust between management and employees.
Protection of the company’s reputation: By handling problems proactively and correctly, a whistleblower scheme can help to minimize damage to the company’s reputation. Transparency and accountability can be crucial to maintaining the trust of customers, investors and other stakeholders.
