Offentliggørelse af historiske kvartalstal
For at imødegå stigende kompleksitet i forretningen har Demant i de seneste år øget transparensen i selskabet og den finansielle indsigt i koncernens forretningsområder og segmenter. I forlængelse af den udvikling og som tidligere meldt ud vil vi derfor, fra og med den næste periodemeddelelse, der offentliggøres den 3. maj 2022, rapportere kvartalsvise omsætningstal og vækstrater fordelt på forretningsområder, segmenter og koncernen. Dette er tiltag, som også vil forenkle sammenligning mellem Demant og lignende selskaber.
Til brug for finansiel modellering har vi vedhæftet historiske kvartalsvise omsætningstal for 2020 og 2021 pr. forretningsområde og segment og for koncernen samt vækstrater for 2021 fordelt på organisk vækst, akkvisitiv vækst og valutakurseffekter. Alle rapporterede tal er baseret på justerede tal.
I fremtiden vil koncernens periodemeddelelser indeholde omsætningstal samt vækstrater for det seneste kvartal fordelt på organisk vækst, akkvisitiv vækst og valutakurseffekter. Halvårsrapporter og årsrapporter vil indeholde de samme finansielle oplysninger som tidligere, men vil derudover indeholde omsætningstal samt vækstrater for henholdsvis Q2 og Q4.

Disclosure of historical quarterly figures
In response to growing complexity, Demant has over the last years increased transparency and financial disclosures on its business areas and segments. To continue this journey, and as previously announced, we will, beginning from the next Interim Management Statement to be published on 3 May 2022, report quarterly revenue and quarterly growth rates by business area, by segment and for the Group combined. This will also enable easier comparison to peers going forward.
For modelling purposes, we have attached historical quarterly revenue numbers for 2020 and 2021 by business area, by segment and for the Group as well as growth rates for 2021 broken down into organic growth, acquisitive growth and exchange rate effects. All reported figures are based on adjusted numbers.
Going forward, the Group’s interim management statements will include revenue numbers as well as growth rates relating to the most recent quarter split by organic growth, acquisitive growth and exchange rate effects. Interim reports and annual reports will include the same financial details as previously but will furthermore include revenue as well as growth rates for Q2 and Q4, respectively.
