Kempower has appointed Tim Joyce as President, North America, and member of the company’s Management Team. He will start in the role in August 2023 and will be based in the United States.
Tim Joyce is a U.S. citizen and joins Kempower from KONE Corporation, which is one of the world’s leading companies in the elevator and escalator industry. At KONE, Joyce most recently held the position of Managing Director, U.K. & Ireland, responsible for an organization of nearly 2,000 employees. Prior to that, Joyce was Senior Vice President of KONE’s South Region in the United States and has held several other management positions at Republic Services, Culligan International and Cintas Corporation in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Indiana University.
“I am very pleased to welcome Tim to the Kempower Management Team. He has extensive experience in management positions in a variety of industries, both in the U.S. and in Europe. He will bring strong expertise from the service business to the management team,” says Kempower’s CEO Tomi Ristimäki.
Kempower is currently establishing an electric vehicles (EV) charging station production facility in Durham, North Carolina, the United States. The company will start the production NEVI (National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) compliant DC chargers by the end of 2023.

Kempower on nimittänyt Tim Joycen yhtiön Pohjois-Amerikan toiminnoista vastaavaksi johtajaksi ja johtoryhmän jäseneksi. Joyce aloittaa tehtävässä elokuussa 2023 ja tulee työskentelemään Yhdysvalloissa.
Tim Joyce on Yhdysvaltain kansalainen ja siirtyy Kempowerille KONEelta, joka on yksi maailman johtavista hissi- ja liukuporrasalan yrityksistä. KONEella Joyce toimi viimeisimpänä Ison-Britannian ja Irlannin alueen johtajana vastaten lähes 2000 työntekijän organisaatiosta. Sitä ennen hän on toiminut KONEen Yhdysvaltain eteläisen alueen johtajana ja lisäksi useissa muissa johtotehtävissä Republic Servicesillä, Culligan Internationalilla ja Cintas Corporationilla Yhdysvalloissa. Hänellä on kauppatieteiden kandidaatin tutkinto Indianan yliopistosta.

Kempower perustaa parhaillaan sähköajoneuvojen pikalatauslaitteiden tuotantolaitosta Durhamiin, Pohjois-Carolinan osavaltioon Yhdysvaltoihin. Yhtiö aloittaa NEVI (National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) -yhteensopivien DC -pikalatauslaitteiden valmistuksen Yhdysvalloissa vuoden 2023 loppuun mennessä.
