Duell Corporation is starting the change negotiations in Finnish companies on October 4, 2022, in accordance with the Co-operation Act regarding the need to reduce the workforce on production, financial and operational reorganization grounds. The grounds for the need to reduce the workforce are based on the goal of eliminating overlaps, making operations more efficient and achieving synergy benefits within the Group. The negotiations concern a total of approximately 80 people in Finland: Clerical salaried employees and senior salaried employees of Duell Bike-Center Oy Ab (Duell Bike-Center) and clerical salaried employees and senior salaried employees of PowerFactory Nordic Oy Ab (PowerFactory). The negotiations do not concern personnel working in the companies’ warehouse operations. Duell completed the acquisition of PowerFactory on May 12, 2022.
The goal is to achieve annual cost savings of around EUR 1 million in the Duell Group. The cost savings estimate for the current financial year is approximately EUR 600,000. The estimated personnel reduction need is at its most 25 people totally in Duell Group.

Duell Oyj aloittaa 4.10.2022 Suomen yhtiöissä yhteistoimintalain mukaiset muutosneuvottelut työvoiman vähennystarpeesta tuotannollisin, taloudellisin ja toiminnan uudelleen organisointiin liittyvin perustein. Työvoiman vähennystarpeiden syyt perustuvat tavoitteeseen karsia päällekkäisyyksiä, tehostaa toimintoja ja saavuttaa synergiaetuja konsernin sisällä. Neuvotteluiden piiriin kuuluu yhteensä noin 80 henkilöä Suomessa: Duell Bike-Center Oy Ab:n (Duell Bike-Center) toimihenkilöt ja ylemmät toimihenkilöt sekä PowerFactory Nordic Oy Ab:n (PowerFactory) toimihenkilöt ja ylemmät toimihenkilöt. Neuvotteluiden piiriin eivät kuulu yhtiöiden varastotoiminnoissa työskentelevä henkilöstö. Duell toteutti PowerFactoryn yritysoston 12.5.2022.
Tavoitteena on saavuttaa noin 1 miljoonan euron vuosittaiset kustannussäästöt konsernissa. Kuluvalle tilikaudelle kohdistuva kustannussäästöarvio on noin 600.000 euroa. Arvioitu henkilöstön vähennystarve on enimmillään yhteensä 25 henkilöä Duell-konsernissa.
