Selskabsmeddelelse 12/2022 – Herning, Danmark, 26. april 2022 – Re-Match Holding A/S ("Re-Match"), en pionér inden for bæredygtig genanvendelse af kunstgræs, har netop modtaget en bevilling på næsten EUR 4,5 mill. fra det hollandske Økonomi- og Klimaministerie til at støtte opførelsen af virksomhedens første fabrik uden for Danmark.
Re-Match investerer 8,5 mio. EUR. i sit nye genbrugsanlæg i Tiel, Holland, og skaber ca. 40 nye fuldtidsstillinger. Dette sammen med det faktum, at Re-Match’s recycling-koncept vil bidrage til at håndtere et betydeligt miljøproblem i landet, bliver nu anerkendt af Økonomi- og Klimaministeriet i form af et tilskud (DEI++ subsidie) på hvad der svarer til mere end DKK 33 mill., der vil gå til etableringen af den nye Re-Match fabrik.
Når fabrikken er i drift, vil den kunne behandle mere end 60.000 tons affald og spare miljøet for op til 100.000 tons CO2 hvert år – hvis man sammenligner med afbrænding af kunstgræs.
”Re-Match er blevet rigtig godt modtaget i Tiel, og vi har haft en konstruktiv dialog med Økonomi- og Klimaministeriet – som nu har besluttet at støtte op om Re-Matchs ankomst”, siger CEO i Re-Match, Nikolaj Magne Larsen. “Med placeringen i Gelderland vil vi kunne tilbyde bæredygtig genanvendelse til et område med en høj koncentration af kunstgræsbaner – og jeg er glad for at se stærk lokal opbakning til vores rejse mod etablering af 24 Re-Match fabrikker over hele verden.”

Company announcement 12/2022 – Herning, Denmark, 26 April 2022 – Re-Match Holding A/S (“Re-Match”), a pioneer within sustainable recycling of artificial turf, has just received a grant of almost EUR 4.5 mill. from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate in order to support the construction of the company’s first factory outside Denmark.
Re-Match is investing EUR 8,5 mill. in its new recycling facility in Tiel, the Netherlands, which will create approx. 40 new, full-time jobs. This together with the fact that Re-Match’s true turf recycling concept will contribute towards dealing with a significant environmental problem in the country, is now being acknowledged by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate in the form the EUR 4.5 mill. grant (DEI++ subsidy) that will go towards the new Re-Match factory.
When operational, the factory will be able to process more than 60,000 tonnes of waste and save the environment from up to 100,000 tonnes of CO2 every year – if compared to incineration of the turf.
“Re-Match has been very well received in Tiel, and we have had a constructive dialogue with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate – who have now decided to support the arrival of Re-Match,” said CEO of Re-Match, Nikolaj Magne Larsen. “With the location in Gelderland we will be able to offer sustainable recycling of to an area with a high concentration of artificial turf fields – and I am happy to see strong local support of our journey towards establishing 24 Re-Match factories across the world.”
