Udvidelse af Demants direktion
I dag offentliggør Demant, at Arne Boye Nielsen, President for Diagnostics og Communications, og Niels Wagner, President for Hearing Care, indtræder i direktionen pr. 1. april 2022, hvilket betyder, at direktionen fremover vil have fire medlemmer.
I de seneste år har Demant øget sine aktiviteter betydeligt på tværs af de forskellige forretningsområder, og selskabet har genereret konsistent og lønsom vækst, kun afbrudt af den uforudsete it-hændelse og coronavirus-pandemien. Arne Boye Nielsen og Niels Wagner har begge bidraget til koncernens vækst og til Demant-koncernens overordnede udvikling, og deres respektive forretningsområder er – især i det sidste årti – vokset betydeligt og har vundet markedsandele. Som en naturlig følge af koncernens udvikling har bestyrelsen derfor besluttet at udnævne dem til medlemmer af direktionen.
Arne Boye Nielsen har været ansat i Demant i over 30 år og har været President for Diagnostics siden 1996. Niels Wagner har været hos Demant siden 1996, dog med en pause på et par år, hvor han har været i andre selskaber, og har været President for Hearing Care siden 2015. Både Arne og Niels har i mere end 10 år været en del af Demants koncernledelse, som også består af koncernchef og adm. direktør Søren Nielsen og CFO René Schneider.

Med ovennævnte udnævnelser består direktionen nu af Søren Nielsen, koncernchef og adm. direktør; René Schneider, CFO; Arne Boye Nielsen, President, Diagnostics og Communications; og Niels Wagner, President, Hearing Care.

Extension of Demant’s Executive Board
Today, Demant announces that Arne Boye Nielsen, President of Diagnostics and Communications, and Niels Wagner, President of Hearing Care, will join the Executive Board effective 1 April 2022, which means that the Executive Board will consist of four members going forward.
Over the last years, Demant has seen a substantial increase in activities across its different business areas, and the company has generated consistent and profitable growth, which has only been disrupted by the unforeseen IT incident and the pandemic. Arne Boye Nielsen and Niels Wagner have been instrumental in the Group’s growth journey and in the overall development of the Demant Group, and their respective business areas have, especially during the last decade, increased significantly and gained market shares. As a natural consequence of the Group’s development, the Board of Directors has therefore decided to appoint them members of the Executive Board.
Arne Boye Nielsen has been employed with Demant for over 30 years and has been President of Diagnostics since 1996. Niels Wagner has been with Demant since 1996, however with a few years with other companies, and has been President of Hearing Care since 2015. For more than 10 years, they have both been part of the Demant management team, which also consists of Søren Nielsen, President & CEO, and René Schneider, CFO.
