Kempower is new EV fast charging partner to Vattenfall InCharge
In the offering circular related to the IPO on December 1, 2021, Kempower announced that it had signed a letter of intent worth approximately EUR 5 million in November 2021 with a major European electricity producer and distributor. Negotiations have now been completed and Vattenfall, one of Europe’s leading energy companies, has chosen Kempower as one of its new electric vehicles (EV) fast charging partners for Vattenfall’s InCharge charging services.InCharge is an initiative by Vattenfall and part of a commitment to sustainable transport. Vattenfall InCharge currently operates 28 000 charging points across Northern Europe. The investment in Kempower’s EV fast charging solutions aims to secure the growth of electromobility for Vattenfall. The order value of the first stage deployment is over EUR 5 million.“Electrical driving is the future, and we have since over a decade been building charging infrastructure in close collaboration with municipalities, cities and companies. Kempower on Vattenfall InCharge -latauspalvelujen uusi kumppani
Kempower kertoi 1.12.2021 listautumisantiin liittyvässä esitteessä solmineensa marraskuussa 2021 noin 5 miljoonan euron aiesopimuksen suuren eurooppalaisen sähköntuottaja- ja jakelijayrityksen kanssa. Nyt neuvottelut on saatu päätökseen ja Vattenfall, yksi Euroopan johtavista energiayhtiöistä, on valinnut Kempowerin yhdeksi uusista sähköautojen pikalatauskumppaneista Vattenfall InCharge -latauspalveluissa.Vattenfallin InCharge -latauspalvelut ovat osa yhtiön sitoutumista vastuulliseen liikenteeseen. Vattenfall InCharge operoi tällä hetkellä 28 000 latauspistettä eri puolilla Pohjois-Eurooppaa. Investoimalla Kempowerin sähköajoneuvojen pikalatausratkaisuihin Vattenfallin tavoitteena on varmistaa sähköisen liikenteen kasvu. Ensimmäisen vaiheen tilausarvo on yli 5 miljoonaa euroa. “Sähköinen liikenne on tulevaisuutta ja olemme rakentaneet latausinfrastruktuuria yli vuosikymmenen ajan yhteistyössä kuntien, kaupunkien ja yritysten kanssa. Meille on tärkeää kasvaa yhteistyössä kumppaneiden kanssa, jotta saavutamme tulevaisuuden tavoitteet,” sanoo Vattenfallin E-mobility-liiketoiminnosta vastaava johtaja Tomas Björnsson.“Olemme erittäin iloisia tästä uudesta yhteistyöstä Vattenfall InCharge -latauspalveluiden kanssa. Mahdollisuus tarjota pikalatauspalveluja sähköautokuskeille Ruotsissa on hieno jatko viimeaikaisille sähköbussivarikkoprojekteille. Vuonna 2021 Kempower toimitti sähköbussien pikalatausratkaisut esimerkiksi Jonköpingiin ja Malmöön, joista jälkimmäinen on pohjoismaiden suurin sähköbussien pikalatausasema”, sanoo Kempowerin toimitusjohtaja Tomi Ristimäki.
