Nordic Unmanned has started the work on its framework agreement with a global mobile network provider for the planning and execution of 4G and 5G mobile site surveys.
The inspections will provide the client with information regarding the position and general structure of outdoor assets, such as radio and transmission equipment, cables, and towers. By conducting these inspections, the client can build an inventory showcasing the status of their current equipment and plan the placement of new assets, which will give decision-makers access to frequent and more detailed data.
Nordic Unmanned will cover the complete preparation and mission prerequisites including data delivery, making sure planning, operation and safety standards are in place to conduct the surveys.
Knut Roar Wiig, CEO at Nordic Unmanned, stated: We are pleased to be entering the telecom industry. We see a new market opening. The implementation of digital surveys and inspection solutions are expected to improve efficiency and the value of critical data.
Nordic Unmanned will potentially conduct hundreds of site surveys over the during the 5-year length of the framework contract. The contract is taking Nordic Unmanned into the telecom industry through drone digitalization.
