I/S Vestforbrænding har tildelt Per Aarsleff A/S kontrakter på næste etapes udbygning af fjernvarmenettet i Frederikssund og Furesø kommuner. De to kontrakter er en del af etape 2 i Varmeplan 2030 og giver boligejere mulighed for at udfase deres olie- og gasfyr og skifte til fjernvarme.
Det er totalentreprisekontrakter, og Aarsleff skal således både projektere og udføre de knap 75 kilometer hoved- og distributionsledninger, som skal forsyne syv deldistrikter i Frederikssund Kommune og to deldistrikter i Furesø Kommune, hvor cirka 2.900 boligejere forventes at konvertere til fjernvarme.

Kontrakterne ligger i naturlig forlængelse af vores gode og konstruktive samarbejde på etape 1 af Varmeplan 2030, og vi vil gøre vores til, at kunderne får en god oplevelse undervejs i den vigtige omstilling,” siger Jesper Kristian Jacobsen, administrerende koncerndirektør i Aarsleff.
Projekteringsarbejderne begynder straks efter kontraktindgåelse, og allerede næste år begynder udførelsen, som vil løbe frem til december 2030. Foruden Per Aarsleff A/S er også koncernens teknikentreprenør Wicotec Kirkebjerg A/S involveret i kontrakterne, eftersom de skal udføre smedearbejdet og alle kundeinstallationerne. Derudover deltager COWI A/S som rådgiver.
Den samlede kontraktsum for de to kontrakter er på 1,7 milliarder kroner. Tildeling af kontrakterne forudsætter godkendelse fra bestyrelsen i I/S Vestforbrænding samt en sædvanlig standstill-periode på ti dage.
Kontrakterne ændrer ikke Aarsleffs forventninger til resultatet for regnskabsåret 2024/25.

The company I/S Vestforbrænding has awarded Per Aarsleff A/S contracts for the next phase of the extension of the district heating network in the municipalities of Frederikssund and Furesø. The two contracts are part of phase 2 of the “2030 heating plan” and enable homeowners to phase out their oil and gas furnaces and switch to district heating.
The contracts are design & build contracts, and Aarsleff’s work comprises design and installation of almost 75 kilometres of main and distribution pipes that will supply seven sub-districts in Frederikssund Municipality and two sub-districts in Furesø Municipality, where approximately 2,900 homeowners are expected to convert to district heating.

The contracts are a natural continuation of our good and constructive collaboration during phase 1 of the 2030 heating plan, and we will do our utmost to ensure that the customers have a positive experience during this important transition,” says Jesper Kristian Jacobsen, Group CEO of Aarsleff.
The design work will begin immediately after the contracts are signed, and the installation work will commence next year and continue until December 2030. In addition to Per Aarsleff A/S, the Group’s technical contractor, Wicotec Kirkebjerg A/S, is also involved in the contracts, undertaking the forging work and all customer installations. In addition, COWI A/S will be participating as consulting engineer.
The total contract value for the two contracts is DKK 1.7 billion. The award of the contracts is subject to approval by the board of directors of I/S Vestforbrænding and a typical ten-day standstill period.
The contracts do not affect Aarsleff’s earnings expectations for the financial year 2024/25.
