The Executive Board decided to cut the policy rate by 0.25 percentage points to 2.5 per cent at its monetary policy meeting on 18 December 2024.
In the minutes of the meeting, you can follow the discussion leading up to the decision and see the arguments put forward by the different members of the Board.
The Executive Board normally holds eight monetary policy meetings per year, at which it takes decisions on monetary policy. The minutes of the meeting are published around five working days after each monetary policy meeting.

Vid det penningpolitiska mötet den 18 december 2024 beslutade direktionen att sänka styrräntan med 0,25 procentenheter till 2,5 procent.
I protokollet från mötet går det att följa den diskussion som ledde fram till beslutet och se hur de olika direktionsledamöterna argumenterade.
Direktionen håller normalt åtta penningpolitiska möten per år då man fattar beslut om penningpolitiken. Cirka fem arbetsdagar efter varje penningpolitiskt möte publiceras protokollet från mötet.
