Norrhydro Group Oyj has received a notification on May 15, 2024, according to Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, stating that Economica Yrityspalvelut Oy’s ownership of shares exceeds 30% of all shares and votes in Norrhdyro Group Oyj.
Economica Yrityspalvelut Oy’s ownership exceeded the notification threshold before April 19, 2024. The notification of exceeding the ownership threshold is retroactive because on April 12, 2024, the Parliament approved a government proposal to amend the Securities Markets Act (HE 3/2024 vp), which extends the reporting requirements for significant ownership and voting rights, as well as the application of provisions related to public tender offers and obligation to make a tender offer, to include multilateral trading facilities alongside regulated markets.
