The General Council of the Riksbank has, in accordance with the Sveriges Riksbank Act, decided on the allocation of the Riksbank’s profit for the financial year 2023. The Riksbank reports a profit of SEK 16,191 million for 2023. However, the profit is not sufficiently large to ensure that the Riksbank’s equity after the allocation of profits will reach the target level for equity pursuant to the Sveriges Riksbank Act. This means that no transfer will be made to the Treasury this year, and that the General Council has decided that the profits will be transferred to the Riksbank’s primary capital.

Riksbanksfullmäktige har i enlighet med riksbankslagen beslutat om disposition av Riksbankens resultat för räkenskapsåret 2023. Riksbanken redovisar en vinst om 16 191 miljoner kronor för 2023. Vinsten är dock inte tillräckligt stor för att Riksbankens eget kapital efter resultatdispositionen uppnår målnivån för det egna kapitalet enligt riksbankslagen. Detta innebär att det inte delas ut några vinstmedel till staten i år och att fullmäktige har beslutat att vinsten ska överföras till Riksbankens grundfond.
